Zhiva
Also known as: Zhivana, Živa
The Slavic goddess of summer and life, set against Morana, the goddess of winter and death.
Zhiva (Zhivana) is the goddess of summer, whose name means "life". In Afanasyev's reading she stands against Morana, the goddess of winter and death, as the green season stands against the dead one.
